ABOUT THE ARENA
Pretzel Arena has built one of the premier arena facilities just outside of Bruceton Mills, WV. Facilities include sand arena with lighting, bleacher seating, announcers booth, cattle chutes, sorting & penning fencing available, covered pavilion with stage and concession stand. We continue to improve the site and add amenities as we go. Site rentals are available, please contact us about our current availability and rates.
ABOUT THE FAMILY
Pretzel Arena was established by Allen Pretzel and his father Dave as a way to bring Rodeo events to the Bruceton Mills, WV area. Allen had a dream to hold a rodeo, buck some bulls and live life to the fullest. Upon Allen's tragic death in 2010, Dave Pretzel vowed to continue on with his son's dream and make the arena what it is today. Dave has single handedly rebuilt the arena from the ground up, installing panels, chutes, sand footing, announcer's booth, a covered pavilion with stage and many other amenities at the arena. Along with Allen's siblings, nieces and nephews, Dave Pretzel and his family hope to continue Allen's dream well into the future. Without the support of friends and family, the arena wouldn't be what it is today!
ABOUT THE FOUNDATION
The foundation was started by Allen's family to honor his memory and provide scholarships to area youths who, like Allen, wanted to do better for themselves and accomplish great things in life. Every year scholarships are awarded to graduating seniors from the Preston County, WV area who are planning on attending a college, university or trade school for agriculture, veterinary science or construction related fields.
